Hey students! Are you new to COS or a returning student that wants to learn more about services and supports? Summer Bridge is our new free week-long orientation with sessions on services, support offerings, how to find your career path, and fun activities! Come join us for a week of fun and learning that ends with activities including ropes courses, horseback riding, and more!

Students can enroll in either the first section Strategies for Student Success - 5198 - COLL 0600 - 01, will run from August 1st through the 5th or the second section Strategies for Student Success - 5199 - COLL 0600 - 02, will run from August 8th to the 12th. And remember, the best part... it's FREE to participate. All costs for the Summer Bridge Program are covered for the week. This includes registration fees, all meals for the week, extracurricular activities, and on-campus lodging for those who need it (based on space availability).

College of the Siskiyous Foster & Kinship Care Education (FKCE) Program is offering a monthly support and educational group to all current, former and prospective Foster & Kinship caregivers (Resource Families) in our community. This is your opportunity to connect with, learn from, and empower other caregivers in a safe and comfortable group environment. Each session will include introductions, a training topic tailored specifically to your expressed needs, and a discussion/support hour.

The goal of this facilitator in this training is to present Trauma-Informed Parenting information to parents in a culturally sensitive, multi-sensory manner so that parents and professionals remember and can intervene with trauma-informed practices on a daily basis.
