Children's Garden Montessori

A quality Montessori preschool and kindergarten education for children age 3-6 from Canton, Plymouth Children may attend 2, 3, 4, or 5 half days a week.

We provide a nurturing educational experience for your child in our beautiful schoolhouse. We are located in Superior Township on the west side of Canton, at the intersection of Ford Road and Napier. Children enjoy our academic program, large playground, outdoor classroom, and growing food in our garden. Other aspects of our program include sign language, yoga, cooking, art, music, nature and hand

s-on science, peace and mindfulness curriculum, and grace and courtesy lessons. We offer a well-rounded preschool and kindergarten education. Teacher’s have Master’s Degrees in Early Childhood Education, 20 years of experience, and Montessori certification. Our school year starts in September following the new student orientation. Our first day! The rain couldn’t dampen our excitement!

Our gardens are growing!The children planted pumpkins in May in our garden, but seeds must have dropped (birds or the wind) into our garden compost pile, and it is doing really well! We also have bottleneck gourds, milkweed plants and monarch butterflies, tiger swallowtail butterflies, and lots of beautiful flowers!

Today at camp, children made a car wash, decorated wooden summer ornaments, and went on a treasure hunt in the sandbox for gems!

Today at camp, we used our imaginations and made pretend donuts and ice cream with puffy paint. We made pretend playdough pizza, enjoyed popsicles outside, and saw a beautiful eastern tiger swallowtail butterfly in the garden!

Today at Mrs. K’s camp, the children made ice cream cone volcanoes, painted woodland animal projects, and played with water in the sensory bins. We also had an obstacle course.

Today at Mrs. K’s camp: We tie-dyed tote bags, decorated play-dough with gems, and spent time on our playground looking for nature finds. We stayed cool by playing with the water table.

Today at Mrs. k’s summer camp, children went on a treasure hunt outside, fished in the water table, and made fish tank projects inside. We ended the day with watering the garden and popsicles!

Today in Mrs. K’s summer camp, the children made ocean themed snacks, played in the water table, made chalk paint, and built an obstacle course! We also investigated a giant sunflower that is growing sideways out of a hay bale! 🌻

Mrs. K's Summer Days! Today, we worked on print making, played with the parachute, created father's day art, and found some insects in the garden!

Mrs. K’s summer days! The children made nature play-dough, decorated ice cream cones in art, finger painted and had popsicles to end the day!
