Open for market Wednesdays 11am-1pm (inside hospital), and 2pm-6pm (at the Farm) A century ago, farmers plowed the ground and raised crops where Trinity Health Ann Arbor's (Previously known as St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor) 364 acre campus is today. On April 14, 2010, a horse-drawn plow tilled a four-acre plot under the shadow of the new hospital. Vegetables are grown year-round at The Farm. The Farm

at Trinity Health Ann Arbor is believed to be the first hospital-based farm in the state of Michigan, and one of only a few nationwide. With the help of volunteers, three 30’x 96’ hoop houses, including one handicap accessible rehabilitative hoop house, were constructed to allow crops to grow year-round so they can be sold at the hospital’s weekly Farmers’ Market.

Oh, kale yeah! Our gorgeous kale grown on site at Trinity Health Ann Arbor is un-be-leaf-ably good. Just ask kale lover Jordan here who made a special trip to our farm stand to purchase this beautiful bunch. Her exact words were probably “best kale ever, you’re kale-ing it over there” or something close to that. Check out our farm stands on Wednesdays 11am-1pm inside the main hospital lobby, and 2-6pm at The Farm Food Hub - we be-leaf in you.

Unfortunately, due to elevated AQI levels, our guided Natural Area hikes have been cancelled for Monday, July 20th.

We are looking forward to hosting the nature hikes on August 3rd, and we hope you are all staying safe from the poor air quality!

In return, we will give you these pictures of the natural areas to make up for it!

Due to the dangerous heat this week, we will not be running our Wednesday Community Distribution on July 15th.

If you’re interested in purchasing produce, you can still visit our Farm Stand in the main lobby of the hospital from 11am-1pm.

The Food Pantry is closed this week, and will reopen from 2-6pm next Wednesday, July 22nd. If you are in need of emergency food assistance, please visit www.foodgatherers.org/find-food to locate a pantry open near your home.

🚨Attention SNAP members 🚨

This Wednesday, July 15th, is the last day to utilize your SNAP benefits to purchase a full Farm Share box for $8.53

Afterwards, on July 22nd to the end of the year, you are still able to purchase individual produce items using your SNAP benefits. We also encourage you to utilize Double Up Food Bucks to double amount of produce you can get. Ask a Farm staff member to learn more, or visit doubleupfoodbucks.org

Friends, it’s way too hot out for us to safely distribute food this week. We are cancelling Community Distribution for 7/1/26 and packing all Farm Shares into pre-packed boxes available in the outdoor cooler for all Members. Boxes are available Wed-Sun night.
🥫Food Pantry will re-open next week 7/8/26 from 2:00-6:00pm.
🫜Farm Stand will only run inside Main Lobby of Trinity Health Ann Arbor from 11:00am-1:00pm. No Hub market in the afternoon.
