Due to the snow storm, there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, March 10th. YCS is also closed due to inclement weather. We expect to resume school on Monday, March 13th (A day).

School Closure: Feb. 24, 2023

Due to power outages throughout the area and related staffing shortages, there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, February 24th. We expect to resume school on Monday, February 27th (A day).

All after-school activities are canceled for the day and all school buildings will be closed. AAPS and YCS are also closed due to power outages. Due to inclement weather, there is NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, January 25th. If school resumes on January 26th, it will be an A day. All after school activities are cancelled as well.

As a consortium school in partnership with Washtenaw county districts, we follow our two largest consortium districts for school closure: If YCS and/or AAPS have school closures due to inclement weather, we also cancel classes in consideration of transportation, food services, staffing, and overall safety for commuting students, staff, and families. In alignment with county districts, we will not have virtual classes on school closure days. We will notify you as soon as possible of any additional school closures.

We have that first day back to school excitement! We can’t wait to see you all for our first day. Classes start at 8:15 so give yourself time to arrive on time!

A HUGE Thursday thank you to our main custodial team: Corey Frame and Ben Grimes(not pictured). Our custodial team goes above and beyond to ensure that our campus is clean and beautiful with hard work, collaboration and communication. They are ready to welcome your children next week!

We are so grateful for these amazing humans: Mr. Seibert and Ms. Mooraj. They have been working hard to prepare for a great school year all summer long. They are here to help and support all of our students, staff and families as we begin the school year and each day thereafter. We are so thankful for all the support they provide and they can’t wait to greet you in the office next week!
