We offer both an undergraduate and graduate level degree for the field of social work (BSW and MSW).
The BSW program is a generalist degree that covers a variety of disciplines related to the social work field. These disciplines include social justice and change, empowerment, diversity, social policy, and working with clients at the micro, mezzo, or macro level of social work. Another successful study abroad trip to Ireland for Drs. Caren Putzu and Jillian Graves and 15 undergraduate and graduate students from social work, philosophy, criminology, psychology, public health, and African American history! As a special bonus, Dr. Ken Saldanha joined the trip. The course, Explore Social Justice in Ireland, focuses on mental health and poverty.
