🔨🏫 Summer may be here, but the work at South Arbor is still going strong!

Our kitchen remodel project is officially underway, and we're excited to share some of the progress happening behind the scenes.

A large new storage area is being built in the corridor between the Primary and Intermediate hallways. This expanded space will house freezer, refrigerated, and dry storage for our food service program, helping us better serve our students for years to come.

As part of the renovation, the current kitchen will be relocated to part of the gym storage area, creating a more efficient and functional setup for our staff and students.

Check out these photos of the progress so far, and stay tuned throughout the summer for more updates as the project takes shape!

At this morning’s monthly Board Meeting, Principal Morgan was recognized as a finalist for the Central Michigan University Charter School Leader of the Year Award! Out of more than 70 schools, Principal Morgan was selected as one of the finalists for this prestigious honor.

This recognition is a testament to his outstanding leadership, dedication to our students, staff, and families, and her commitment to making South Arbor a place where every child can thrive.

As our charter authorizer, Central Michigan University plays an important role in supporting excellence in education, making this recognition especially meaningful.

South Arbor is incredibly fortunate to have such a passionate and dedicated principal leading our school community.
