Our first Teaching Kitchen of the year was a complete success.🌟

Students learned how to properly cut, prepare, season, and bake our feel good food of the month: Butternut Squash!

Campus Executive Chef Kayrone Wright and new Campus Dietitian Kimmy VanDeWege showed students squash can be prepared sweet or savory as a delicious candied dessert squash, as well as a topper for a fresh salad. Students then got to enjoy their meal, and take some to go.😋
