The Women's Resource Center at Eastern Michigan University is launching their first student parent initiative through a series of video presentations that is now available on their social media.
Every week starting now through the month of April, 5th,12, & 19th they will be posting up video presentation podcast-style interviews with surrounding organizations that discuss the various resources which they provide for our student parent families and their children

Join activist and artist Latosha Brown Wednesday, February 24th at 7pm for a dynamic keynote address. LaTosha is the Co-Founder of the Black Voters Matter Fund and Black Voters Matter Capacity Building Institute. These initiatives are designed to boost Black voter registration and turnout, as well as increase power in marginalized, predominantly Black communities.

The Department of Public Safety and Diversity and Community Involvement are partnering for EMU’s annual Holiday Sharing & Gift Giving Program.
Each year we work with Ypsilanti's Parkridge Community Center to ensure local Ypsilanti youth receive a gift this holiday season. With 2020 continuing to be a difficult year, it is critical that we reach our goal of 120 gifts. If you are able to participate, please consider purchasing a gift (up to but not exceeding $40) or making a tax-deductible monetary donation to the VISION Volunteer Center's Foundation Fund.
All donations made between now and December 11, 2020 will go towards purchasing gifts for this important program.

Taking a Stand: 24/1
Every minute, Twenty-four women experience a form of violence in the U.S. This type of social injustice issue impacts ALL women regardless of ethnicity, culture, and background; however, we will utilize this platform to shine light on how violence affects women of color, especially Black women. Join the Women's Resource Center for a virtual open forum discussion with Domestic Violence experts that will bring awareness to this issue.

Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels is looking for volunteers to deliver meals on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting at 12pm and ending around 1pm. Volunteers will need to pass a background check and have a vehicle to complete the route.
