Lincbots Team 6538 Wins District Robotics Competition!

The Lincoln high school robotics team headed to Belleville this past weekend for the first of two competitions. We persevered through some challenges and almost lost our nuts and bolts! But we remained calm, collected and ready. With the help of our partners Belleville HS, and Gladstone HS, on the #2 Alliance, we returned victorious!

We will be preparing for Fenton district in two weeks and with a little bit of luck we will qualify for the State championship!

The Linc-Bots had a phenomenal time at FIRST in Michigan State Championships. The team and robot competed all weekend without any major failures and we had a blast. Even better performance than during the regular season. Thank you to Lincoln Consolidated Schools for being so incredibly supportive of our team and the opportunities our students have with this wonderful program.

Additionally, we were able to speak to business and political leaders, at a VIP session, about the Career and Technical program we are building at Lincoln and how the inspiration of FIRST Robotics led to its development. We are excited to bring robots into the classroom and expand our program K-12 in the very near future!

We will meet on Tuesday and Thursdays 2:45-3:45 until 12/17 in room 1405.
Tutoring is available T and Th from 2:15-2:45 in the Media Center.
