Happy Days Daycare and Preschool currently has an opening for a full time Lead teacher. The hours may vary but will fall between 6:30-6, Monday through Friday.

To be a Lead teacher you must have the following:

- High school diploma/GED with 6 semester hours, 9 CEUs or a combination to equal 90 clock hours with 3,840 hours of experience.

- High school diploma/GED with 12 semester hours, 18 CEUs, or a combination to equal 180 clock hours with 1,920 hours of experience.

- High school diploma/GED with 12 semester hours and 960 hours of experience.

- Valid CDA with 480 hours of experience.

- Associated degree or higher in early childhood education or child development.

- Lead teachers for infants/toddlers shall have 3 semester hours, 4.5 CEUs, or 45 hours of MiRegistry approved infant and toddler development and care practices within 6 months of hire

Also, someone who is first aid/CPR certified and completed their fingerprinting background check, however these things can be accomplished at the time of hire. You must have experience working the in the childcare field, in an infant classroom. We would also like someone who is a team player, who is energetic and who is willing to get messy with the kiddos.

Happy Days Daycare and Preschool is located at 9384 Whittaker Rd, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. There is not a bus route to this location so you must be able to transport yourself. Our hiring process starts with an interview followed by a working interview. We do offer services for children of employees; however, it is at availability.

Happy Days is currently hiring for school-age teachers for our latchkey programs at our Belleville locations. Hours are 6:30-9:00am and 3:45-6:00pm, Monday through Friday. You must be available both Monday through Friday and both AM/PM. There are additional hours on no school days, half days, breaks and during summer program.

We are looking for someone who has experience working the in the childcare field. We would also like someone who is a team player, who is energetic, has a positive attitude, good work ethic, physically able to play with the children, has previous experience working with school-age children and who is willing to get messy with the kiddos. Ideally, we would also like someone who is already first aid/CPR certified and has completed their fingerprinting background check, however these things can be accomplished at the time of hire.

The positions start out at $14.00 an hour and there is a signing bonus

We are looking for individuals with open availability. That have experience working in the childcare field, particularly with younger children. Someone who is a team player, energetic and willing to get messy with the kiddos. Ideally, we would also like someone who is already first aid/CPR certified and has completed their fingerprinting background check, however these things can be accomplished at the time of hire. Interviews will take place in person.

Happy Days is currently looking for a School-age Summer Teacher at our Belleville location.

Our summer school program runs from 6:30am until 6pm, Monday through Friday.
