Are you a student that has completed 170, 240 or 360? Are you an aviation flight or management student that will be graduating this year?

Elon Musk’s vision for the Space X BFR and starship are coming to fruition quickly. A platform that can carry hundreds of passengers and tons of cargo off planet to destinations on the Moon and Mars, or anywhere on Earth in 20 minutes is truly exciting. This excitement spills over into conversations with pilots and flight students about possible future careers in “Space flight”. But one thing I haven’t heard is anything about flight programs working with Space X to prepare flight crews. With the addition of hundreds of these rockets flying potentially thousands of passengers daily will the craft be solely autonomous? Will hundreds of people board an autonomous rocket for space flight with no on board flight crew oversight?
