It doesn’t matter if it’s a scribble, a circle, or a couple of triangles. Your child made it for you because they’re proud and excited to share it with you. Please, don’t toss their art where they can see it. It can hurt their feelings and their confidence.

Sometimes, they’ll draw a few lines and explain an entire story behind it. No, you don’t have to keep every single drawing. But if they made something just for you, take a moment to thank them. That little doodle took effort, focus, and a whole lot of love. They thought of you and wanted to share it—that’s something special.

Their art isn’t just a picture. It’s a piece of their imagination and care.

Little moments like this build their confidence and help them grow into kind, thoughtful individuals.
