Today (June 8th) is the last day for students enrolled in AOP Summer 1 and 1st-7 Week courses to withdraw and receive a grade of “W”.
To withdraw from a course, log into the Penguin Portal and select the Student Dashboard card. Select “Register for Classes” under Registration. Select the correct term, and click “Continue”. In the Summary box, click the Action drop-down menu for the course you wish to withdraw. Select “Drop Course (W Grade)” in the Action Drop Down Menu. And click “Submit”.

We are hiring Student Office Assistants! Please encourage your YSU student to apply! The Penguin Service Center (PSC) is a centralized service area that provides front-line enrollment counseling and problem-resolution in the areas of Financial Aid, Records and Registration, and University Bursar.
The primary duties for the student office assistant are:
• Assist students, parents and visitors to the Penguin Service Center, answering general university questions.
• Assist students with self-service functions, such as course registration, transcript requests, enrollment verifications, etc.
• Assist with office duties, such as copying and scanning documents, running office related errands on campus, etc.
• Assist in making materials to promote the office, important dates, and events to be posted on social media
• Maintain confidentiality to all accessible information, regardless of format (e.g., electronic, paper, oral)
• Communicate with supervisor on regular basis for training and professional development.
• Assist supervisor with additional duties as assigned.
