BINGO! BINGO! IEC NEW STUDENT AND 3rd GRADE ORIENTATION! GLOW BINGO WAS A HIT!

What a wonderful day welcoming our new IEC students and our incoming 3rd graders to the Lewiston-Porter Intermediate Education Center! We had an incredible turnout with over 200 students and family members joining us for our Glow Bingo Party!

On Monday, our amazing 5th Grade Lancer Leaders and High School students helped Mrs. Rodriguez, Mrs. Amado, Mrs. Brook, and Mrs. Emmons welcome students who are new to Lewiston-Porter and our newest 3rd graders!

There were games, grins, glowing lights, lots of BINGO, and plenty of excitement as our newest Lancers got to know their school, meet new friends, and begin building a sense of belonging before the first day even arrives.

A HUGE thank you to our 5th Grade Lancer Leaders and High school Students for being such wonderful role models and helping our newest students feel right at home. That is what leadership and community are all about!

We are so excited to welcome each and every one of you to the IEC family!

Our school year is almost here, and we are READY TO GLOW!

Our school theme is: Glow Together, Grow Together, Lead Together!

BINGO! BINGO! WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ON OPENING DAY!

What an incredible way to wrap up the 2025-2026 school year at the Lewiston-Porter Intermediate Education Center!

This week was filled with laughter, celebration, and unforgettable memories as our students enjoyed some of the best traditions of the year!

Field Day brought out the 80's, teamwork, sportsmanship, and plenty of smiles as students worked together, cheered each other on, and had fun in the sun.

Grade-Level picnics gave our students the opportunity to relax, celebrate friendships, and enjoy time together before heading off for summer adventures.

Skateland was a hit! Whether students were skating like pros or trying it for the very first time, there were lots of laughs, music, and memories made on the rink.

And of course, our beloved 5th Grade MUD Ceremony was a meaningful tradition as we celebrated our fifth graders and recognized their growth, leadership, and accomplishments during their time at the IEC. We are so proud of each of you and can't wait to see all you'll accomplish at the Middle School!

As we close another amazing school year, we want to thank our incredible students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and wonderful community for making the IEC such a special place. Together, we've learned, grown, led, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

To our students, keep reading, keep exploring, keep being kind, and never stop learning. We can't wait to hear about all of your summer adventures!

Have a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer!

Remember, Lancers... Glow Together. Grow Together. Lead Together.

See you in September!

Dear Lewiston-Porter Families, Staff, Students, and Community Members,

As our nation prepares to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, I would like to encourage our school community to take part in a very special local celebration right here in Niagara County.

On Saturday, August 1, 2026, the Niagara County America 250 Committee will host a Spectacular Live Drone Show at Old Fort Niagara from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This family-friendly event will celebrate our nation’s rich history while showcasing the beauty and significance of one of our region’s most historic landmarks.

The evening will feature:

A spectacular live drone show by Skyworx
Performances by the Niagara County-Wide America 250 Concert Band
Musical performances by David & Ginger Hildebrand
A performance by the U.S. Army Band
Food vendors and family-friendly activities
A unique opportunity to celebrate America's 250th birthday with neighbors from across Niagara County
Admission is free, though a parking pass is required; you can also park outside the state park and walk in.

Few places are better suited to celebrating America's history than Old Fort Niagara, a site that has played a significant role in our nation's story for more than 300 years. This promises to be a memorable evening for families, students, and community members of all ages.

Please see the attached flyer for additional details, including parking information and registration instructions.

We hope many members of the Lewiston-Porter family will join in this historic community celebration.
