Many students are curious about the military, but are reluctant to visit recruiters because of the perceived high pressure nature of that business. The Office of Veterans Affairs at YSU would like to eliminate that stress and simply provide an opportunity for students to have their questions answered about what joining the military (Reserves, Guard or Active Duty) really entails. The military has wonderful education benefits to help defray or completely eliminate the cost of your college education. Join Rick Williams, Associate Director of the Office of Veterans Affairs at YSU for a low threat discussion about joining the military. No recruiters will be in this session. Simply have your questions answered about Reserve or Active service in the military and the benefits that follow.
Email Rick Williams, for an invite to this WebEx discussion, Thursday, November 12th, 4-6 pm

Hang in there student veterans. There's only a few more weeks left in the semester. COVID-19 has caused unprecedented change that has affected everybody. Veterans, more so than most, should be accustomed to adapting and overcoming. Though the Office of Veterans Affairs at YSU is closed on campus, we're still responding to those who reach out at [email protected].
