Hello,
I am trying to contact the head of your montessori school or director of your Communications/Marketing Department. If you could have them email me (

Cheers!

🦉🐝What a month! Thanks to the amazing students and teachers at The Montessori School of the Mahoning Valley for having us out. It was a pleasure to see the kids having fun while learning about nature. 🐝🦉
We did a four week series on owls and honey bees.
-The kids got to become honey bees and pollinate flowers using electrostatic attraction.
-They deconstructed lilies to learn the parts of a flower involved in pollination.
-We built a colony having the kids do the different jobs of the queen, worker bees and drones.
-They also got a chance to dissect owl pellets and reconstruct the skeletons of prey animals to see what owls eat.
-A big thank you to Birds in Flight Sanctuary for bringing out a live barred owl. They will never forget it!

Eagle Project Brings Gaga Pit to MSMV
Students at The Montessori School of the Mahoning Valley are enjoying the warm weather in their long-awaited Gaga Pit!
Elementary and Adolescent students began asking for a Gaga pit to be added to the school’s campus last year. They were thrilled to find that their dreams were becoming reality with the help of a local Scouts troop!
The Gaga pit was planned, built, and installed by Todd Johnston of Scouts BSA Troop 9054. Johnston is working toward his Eagle award and chose MSMV as the recipient of his community project.
The wooden enclosure, or ‘pit,’ is located in the back yard of Cart House, and provides a place for MSMV’s students to play Gaga Ball, a game similar to dodgeball. Players use their hands to hit the ball toward their opponents, who run, jump, or otherwise dodge the ball in an effort to be the last one standing. Players are eliminated if they’re hit below the knee by the ball.
This is the second Eagle award project to benefit MSMV. Last year, MSMV alumnus Colin Kirkpatrick constructed wooden stairs leading into part of the school’s wooded trails.

Is the board still meeting?
Is it via zoom and can people pop in if they have things to bring up?
If not can the minutes be shared since we cannot really go to school to access them.
*Wouldn't let me tag the entire board.
Congratulations to...
Bobby Seifert!!!
