YNDC Seeks Candidates for AmeriCorps Vista | Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation -... VISTA, or Volunteers in Service to America, is a national service program operated by the Corporation for National and Community service. VISTA members serve for one year, represent all walks of life, and work to strengthen the capacity of YNDC’s programming to better meet needs at a citywide scale.

11:00 AM - special meeting with Department of Communication students (Kilcawley Gallery Room); moderated by senior telecommunication studies major, Lincoln Williams

2:00 PM - public presentation (1171 Williamson) "Black Voices Matter: Race and Gender in the Age of Social Media"

Spring 2014 Senior Send Off

Thank you to Four Point Fitness for the generous donation to our Prostate Cancer fundraiser this semester! It is greatly appreciated and awesome to have another organization apart of such a great cause!!

For anyone else who is interested in our fundraiser let us know!! Next Monday night at O'Donald's downtown starting at 8:00 p.m. Lambda members will be there for our Indians season opener fundraiser! Bracelets will be there to purchase for Prostate Cancer research!!

Lambda Pi Eta is a student organization at YSU for the Department of Communications! We try to incorporate our fundraising events out in the community...particularly Downtown Youngstown! This year we are hosting our 2nd annual Indians Season Opener fundraising event at O'Donald's Downtown!! Here's the breakdown:

-March 31st starting at 8:00 p.m. guests that bring in our flier will have a percentage of their bill donated to YSU Lambda Pi Eta!

-Come join us for drinks, dinner, and a celebration to kick-off warm weather and one of the best times of the year...baseball season!
