On April 18th, Valley Christian Schools hosted a "Men's Gathering". This was a gathering to invite men from our Valley Christian Schools families to attend. The purpose of the gathering was to remind and challenge our men of God's desire for them to lead and invest in the lives of our students and families.

We were challenged by Pastor William Burney's delivery of God's Word to remind us that men are "born" into leadership and that "Hope is Now Here". Bill Hoelzel followed up in challenging men to influence those within their sphere of influence, through a study on the book "Extreme Ownership". Extreme Ownership: Own everything in your world. Take full responsibility.

Moving forward, there will be more opportunities to unite our men in serving our community.

Local students explore career pathways Valley Christian School hosted a career event on Thursday to give students a look at possible pathways to the next part of their lives.

Valley Christian School hosted College and Career Fair on Thursday, March 26, 2026, providing students in grades 7–12 with a full day of exposure to future educational and professional opportunities. The events keynote speaker was Youngstown Mayor Derrick McDowell and he gave a very inspirational message to Valley Christian School students.
