💗💚 **When we serve others, we are reminded of the true meaning of love.** 💚💗

Today, the women of **Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® – Epsilon Mu Omega Chapter** were honored to host the **Red Door Cafe** at **St. John Episcopal Church in Youngstown, Ohio**. 🙏🏾❤️

With hearts full of gratitude and love, we served **over 100 members of our community** a warm, comforting meal of:

🍗 Fried Chicken
🧀 Mac & Cheese
🫛 String Beans
🥖 Rolls
🥤 Punch & Water
🍰 Assorted Desserts

But today was about so much more than food. It was about **people.** It was about making sure someone who may be experiencing a difficult season could sit down to a warm meal and feel cared for, welcomed, and remembered. ❤️

Hunger is a reality for far too many individuals and families, and sometimes the smallest act of kindness can mean more than we will ever know. A meal can fill a stomach, but **compassion can fill a heart.** 💕

We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community we call home. Every plate served, every smile shared, and every helping hand was a reminder that **when we come together in love and service, we can make a difference.** 🤝🏾✨

The women of **Epsilon Mu Omega** are proud to continue our commitment to **Service to All Mankind**. 💗💚 We don't simply serve because it is what we do—we serve because **we care.**

May we always remember that we never know what someone else is going through, and a little kindness can go a long way. Today, we were blessed to be a blessing. 🙏🏾💗

Today, we honor the hands, hearts and service that helped build our communities and strengthen our nation. 🩷💚

This Labor Day, we recognize generations of workers—including trailblazing Black women like Rosina Corrothers Tucker—whose courage and advocacy helped advance fair wages, safer working conditions and greater opportunities for those who came after them.

Across the Great Lakes Region, our sisters continue that legacy through meaningful work, leadership and service.

May today be a moment to rest, reflect and honor those whose work paved the way.

Through the power of intentional spending, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® members have invested more than $50 million in Black-owned businesses during this administration. This June, we’re building on that legacy with a goal of spending $8 million more.
