Potential Development’s athletic program did not lose a step in planning and executing our 2nd Annual Track Invitational!

We were excited to welcome more than 160 athletes from Potential Development, Columbiana County Comets, The Phoenix of the Valley, and Fairhaven School for a wonderful day of competition, sportsmanship, and infectious spirit.

With beautiful weather, cheering fans, dedicated staff, and hardworking athletes, the day was a true celebration from start to finish. From the Parade of Athletes to each event and awards ceremony, it was incredible to see our athletes shine on and off the track.

A special thank you to Struthers City Schools for the use of the track and to Struthers Wildcats Football for coming out to rally around our athletes and cheer them on. Your support helped make the day even more meaningful.

Thank you to all the families and friends who came out to cheer from the sidelines, and to our PD staff for planning and executing another great event for our athletes.

Batter Up for Autism Charity Tournament to benefit PD begins today at Champ Park in Austintown! The event kicks off tonight when our PD Kick Ball Teams play on field 3 at 6 pm!! We hope to see you there!! If you can’t make it - tune in to YSN!

Oh what a night! The Embassy was the location and neon was the theme for Prom 2026! Memories were made, fun was had, and smiles lit up the dance floor, like glo sticks all evening long. Thank you to everyone who helped make this unforgettable night possible!

Beads, codes, and big discoveries! Our Potential Development 6th grade students had a blast at the ISAC-X Grant Project at Youngstown State University Beeghly College of Education, diving into the world of computer science. From cracking binary code to exploring algorithms and loops, students turned creativity into coding fun while building confidence, critical thinking, and new tech skills along the way.

Thank you for the generous donation to Potential Development. The funds raised through the annual Chili Open Golf Outing will help support educational programs, resources, and opportunities that make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.
