Volney Rogers is a neighborhood school on the west side of Youngstown. We service students from PreK We strive for the highest level of academic achievement.

What a GREAT way to end the school year!!! Thank you to Relevant Speakers Network for being the Elevate Assembly for our 3-5 students that earned their academic growth activity!! It was AWESOME!! ❤️

And we can’t forget our staff that made fun day memorable for the kids!! We even forgave them for dunking us in the dunk tank!! 😂😂

Wear green tomorrow 💚

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month this May , our District School Counselors, Social Workers, and School Nurses will be hosting a district-wide “Wear Green Day” to help raise awareness and show support for mental health in our school community.

We invite all building staff and scholars to wear green on May 15 as a visible reminder of the importance of mental wellness, reducing stigma, and supporting one another. This small act can reinforce a shared commitment to creating a supportive and caring school environment for everyone. 💚
