The 2026 Zoldan Yampolsky Family Executive Fellows Cohort gathered today at the Butler Institute of American Art for their first professional development seminar, marking the beginning of an exciting year of learning, leadership and community impact.
Through the Executive Fellows Program, these outstanding YSU students will gain hands-on experience with nonprofit organizations across the Mahoning Valley while working alongside industry leaders and advancing meaningful community initiatives.

After completing specialized coursework in exporting and global supply chain operations, these students have been matched with Ohio companies for full time paid summer internships. Through hands on experience in international trade, logistics, compliance and market expansion, they will help support regional businesses while building valuable skills.

Making an impact beyond the classroom π§π€²
YSU business students in the Student Nonprofit Leadership Organization awarded a $2,000 Pay It Forward grant to Clothed In Strength, a nonprofit supporting single mothers in the local community.
The Pay It Forward initiative offers valuable real-world experience in philanthropy and nonprofit management while helping students develop leadership and decision-making skills.
