Join us for a Wick House Meet and Greet open to any student who would like to know more! CCCA and Housing staff will be available to show you Wick House and answer questions! Stop in on Wednesday, February 22nd, from 3:00-4:30 PM or Thursday, February 23rd, from 10:00-11:30 AM.
Wick House, a restored mansion on the campus of YSU, will serve as the home base for the Living Learning Community, offering 24/7 access to community study and practice spaces, a graphic design-friendly computer lab, and art project space. Twenty-one Living Learning Community students will live in Wick House, and other members of the community will live in Kilcawley House. Honors College students who are interested in participating in the Living Learning Community may do so while living in Cafaro House.
The goal of the LLC is to provide you with multiple levels of academic, artistic, and personal support to further enhance the world-class education you will receive from the Department of Art, Dana School of Music, or University Theatre.
Through the LLC, students will be presented with unique opportunities, programs, and services to encourage a comprehensive and successful college experience. With close proximity to Bliss Hall, you will never be far away from your classes and resources. You will also have around-the-clock access to acoustically designed practice rooms, digital pianos, a theatre and music rehearsal space, an art studio space, a Mac computer lab, and group study spaces. You will also have access to on-site tutors and academic advising.
CCCA LLC students can move into their dorm one day earlier than other students and will be invited to a special meet and greet reception.
