“Jaws for a Cause” 🦈🥫

The YSU team proudly built this year’s CANstruction entry using 1,282 cans to help “Take a Bite Out of Hunger.” All cans will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning Valley to support those facing food insecurity in our Mahoning Valley.
Be sure to stop by the Eastwood Mall to check out the CANstruction displays and vote for your favorite!

Join us for an Honors/Scholars Alumni Gathering during Summer Festival of the Arts on Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the Fok Hall front lawn. Alumni and their families are invited to stop by, reconnect, enjoy light refreshments, and explore the Summer Festival of the Arts on campus. There is no cost to attend. Looking for a fun and meaningful way to earn your volunteer hours this summer? ☀️🎨

Join the Summer Crafting Club at Boardman Park and turn your creativity into something impactful! Work with a small group of kids (ages 7–11), help bring imaginative projects to life, and make lasting memories along the way. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while giving back to the community.

🗓 Volunteer Dates:
June 1–5, June 8–12, June 15–19, June 22–26, June 29–July 2, July 6–10, July 13–17, July 20–24, July 27–31, August 3–7, August 10–14, August 17–21

⏰ Time: 11 AM – 1 PM (2 volunteers needed per day)

✨ Reminder: Honors students are required to complete 60 volunteer hours each year—summer is the perfect time to get ahead while doing something fun and rewarding!
