5th Day of Lutheran Schools Week! We are created to be disciples! We received WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) bracelets as a reminder to be like Jesus. Our friends cut out and decorated hearts to show they love God!

Today is the 4th day of Lutheran Schools Week! We are created to be helpful! Our Lenten chain link for the day told us to sing a song about the B-I-B-L-E and a Shining Star friend helped with prayer today. Our Explorers traced and cut out their helping hands and discussed ways to be helpful. Comment below a way you can be helpful!

Day 3 of Lutheran Schools Week! We are created to be curious! We learned about Ash Wednesday in Chapel and some of our friends shared what they are curious about. 💡

Day 2 of Lutheran Schools week! Created to be you! We talked about how everyone’s fingerprints are unique and some friends shared questions they had about God.

Today was the first day of Lutheran Schools Week. We are created to be brave! Students dressed in super hero attire and made pennants of what their super powers are! In Chapel we sang “Jesus is my Superhero!”

All of our classrooms enjoyed Green Eggs and Ham this morning! This is a favorite tradition that even some of our Austintown Schoolagers looked forward to joining us for!

We celebrated Dr. Seuss this week!
Monday - silly/mismatched sock day (Fox in Socks)
Tuesday- Wear a shirt you can read (I Can Read with my Eyes Shut)
Wednesday- Hat day (The Cat in the Hat)
Thursday - wear your favorite color (My Many Colored Days)

Our Pre-K Explorers were busy this morning cutting vegetables for their famous Pre-K Stone Soup! They hope you enjoy!

This will follow the 10:30 Worship Service. Noon would be a nice time to attend!
Tickets are $9.00 for adults
(5 tasters, a bowl of soup, bread, crackers, dessert, and a drink),
$6.00 for children 6 and under, $5.00 for an extra bowl
Take out is available!

Raffle Tickets are $1.00 each,
6 for $5.00, and 15 for $10.00.

Sign ups for crockpots of soup are in the early learning center or at the church’s Welcome Center.

There are prizes for the top 2 soups!

All proceeds go to the early learning center for learning materials!
