My boy has flu and I'm working overtime! 5 high alerts. Last one was 319. Phew it smells funny in this house!

Getting ready to leave the house and Gavin comes home from a friends. I get the stare and a bringsel and a dwn stay. Gavin is upstairs in his room with his buddy. BS 190 with 2.09 units on board. Crunch smelled him dropping too fast. Good low buddy! I feel so much better leaving my boy with someone when he's around. Love my Crunchie! ♥ ♥

I alerted to highs all night. My boy is growing up and smelling funny. Puberty is rough on all of us. O_o

3pm Gavin called before he loaded on bus with a 202 blood sugar. 330p came home Crunch alerts to a low as he comes through the door. Blood sugar 68. YOWZA 134 point drop in half hour..Good low Crunch!!!! So glad to have this amazing pup...this disease has no rhym or reason. We needed him in our life more than you know!!!!!!!

Gavin came home from football last night...time for site change and Crunch was beside himself...alerting and pacing back and forth from me to Gavin...nose up in the air..straight for Gavin's breath..then back to me w a high alert. Blood sugar 238 and rising..Diabets sucks within an hour in half blood sugar went up to 416..insulin was on board but not working fast enough! Poor boy with an upset stomach and his guardian angel alerting like crazy! D is a crazy mean Rollarcoaster ride w rather not be on!!! Thank GOD for our D.A.D to Crunch those numbers!! Love him!!!

AMAZING!! I am amazed everyday with Crunchs alerts. He beat G's Dexacom everytime now..with double alerts. Just now he alerted to a low 62 then immediatly a high 115 , but G just ate a bowl of cereal and within 15mins he is 115. How much more amazing does that get?!?! He told me his sugar is rising fast. LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM!!!!!

Today was Crunch's birthday. He didnt take the day off ...or even miss a beat!! 4 alerts and ton's of persistance. 2 high alerts and two low. Alerted just now to a low while giving his brothers a bath and was pacing back and forth from Gavin to me. I said go check Gavin. Finally Gavin's friend (9yrs old) said umm your dog wants you to check your sugar. Blood sugar 95 with 3.2 units on board to drop him over 300 points. Great Low buddy!!! Love him!!

Ok now it was time for me to let Crunch alert to Gavin's sitter while I work. So I told her to wear the bringsel and when he alerts check Gavin. Well within 30 minutes he grabs bringsel off her belt..and bows. She went and checked Gavin 210 with 2.19 unit on board. Great low. He blows me away with his brilliance!!

Crunch alerted from the sidelines at football practice. Gavin was high and need some insulin. Blood sugar 356. 85 degree's and intense exercise...adrenline got us tonight. Small bolus of insulin and rocking a 185 right now. Love our furry boy. Great high...from half a football field away!! Love him!!!

Yesterday I alerted to my boy while he was on the football field a low with too much insulin on board. Then a newly diagnosed 9 yr olds mom comes up to introduce herself and I started to alert for a low. Well he boy (t1) was on field but she was holding his meter. Mom asked if he was low and sure enough he was fighting lows all day. She had old used strips in her meter case.

Crunch was in his kennel taking his afternoon break/nap as I hear him bark w a low tone. I let him out he grabs bringsel and bows. I tell Gavin to check his blood sugar. He is 132 with 1.9 units on board. 1 units drops him 100 point. FANTASTIC LOW Buddy!!!! LOVE HIM!!!!
