Students at the Primary Education Center had an exciting morning as they kicked off their new theme, “Reading Grows Great Minds!”
Under the direction of Miss Mosier students in Pre-K through 2nd grade came together to sing three wonderful songs celebrating the joy of reading, kindness, and the seven habits . What a joyful way to begin the new theme! 📖🎵

Gabe reminds us that success is built long before the spotlight ever arrives. Behind every accomplishment are countless hours of preparation, persistence, practice, and the decision to keep going even when no one is watching. During his time with us, Gabe consistently demonstrated that kind of dedication, and we’re proud to celebrate the work, talent, and determination that helped make him the person he is today.

Although Gabe has since graduated and moved on to his next chapter, we’re happy to take a moment to recognize him and celebrate the many talents that made him such a memorable part of our school community.

The Middle School is dressing up some of the music classrooms with a “Hall of Fame”of sorts. When students come to school next week, they will see photos of people who either came from the Western New York region and went on to prominent careers in music or contributed greatly to the scene here. Did we forget anybody? (yes…Harold Arlen is going up there😉)

💃Jenna Z.🎻

After a five-month break, our series is back for a new school year, and it feels right to begin with someone who made such a meaningful impact on our music program and the arts.

Jenna, a 2025 graduate, shared her creativity, talent, energy, and heart in countless ways during her time here. She contributed far beyond simply being a member of our music program, helping make our arts community stronger and more vibrant.

We are incredibly grateful to have had Jenna as part of our school community, and we’re proud of all she contributed while she was here. Once part of our music family, always part of our music family.

🎶 Meet Our New Music Department Member: Ryan Kaminski! 🎶

As we get ready for the 2026-2027 school year, we’re excited to welcome the newest faculty member of the Lewiston-Porter Music Department!

Introducing Ryan Kaminski, our new 3-5 General Music/Chorus teacher! Ryan is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia and Mansfield University, where he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Education/Vocal Music. His previous teaching experience includes St.Mary’s High School and Sweet Home Middle School.

When asked why he wanted to come to Lewiston-Porter, he shared:

“I wanted to join Lew-Port specifically to work at the IEC, to connect with the students & faculty there and be part of a district and department that has a strong tradition of excellence in music.”

We’re so happy to welcome Ryan Kaminski to Lew-Port and look forward to all the music and memories he’ll help create with our elementary students. Welcome to the L-P music family! 🎵
