We can’t believe tomorrow is the last day of school! We’re already thinking about next school year and want to share some important reminders. ⚠️

To get our scholars in key grades prepared for the start of school, YCSD is introducing staggered schedules for 26-27.

Scholars in grades kindergarten, 6th, and 9th grade from the traditional schools (not YREC) will begin on September 1, whereas all other scholars will start on September 2.

What a great Field Day at Taft! Every scholar received a Field Day shirt thanks to the fundraisers we held throughout the year. A special thank you goes out to all of the staff and teachers who helped make this day so special! Tomorrow is our last day of school!

Today we celebrated our amazing 5th graders as they take the next step toward middle school. So proud of all they’ve accomplished and excited for all that’s ahead. The end of one chapter, and the start of another!

Our 3rd and 4th Grade Awards Ceremony was an amazing celebration of our students and their accomplishments this school year! 🎉

Students were recognized for the Principal’s Award, PBIS Super Scholar, Outstanding Attendance, Honor Roll, NWEA Growth, Growing Readers, Character Strength, Music, and Gym awards.

We are incredibly proud of all of our scholars for their hard work, growth, and dedication throughout the year. Thank you to our families, teachers, and staff for supporting and encouraging our students every step of the way!

Our 1st and 2nd Grade Awards Ceremony was a wonderful success and so well attended! We loved celebrating our amazing students and all of their accomplishments this school year.

Awards included Music, Gym, Character Strength, and the Principal’s Award. We are so proud of each and every scholar for their hard work, positive attitudes, and growth throughout the year.

When our principal says that we need to celebrate end of year data, she means business!!! We are Putting TAFT on the MaP!!!
