We are so appreciative of the lecture with imam’s wife from AlOmary Masjid
Very beneficial information, and inspiring as well.
Below is the presentation pages including the books, apps, comprehensive program to earn ijaazah for teaching. shared with us during the lecture. You will also find the QR code to the most recommended app that will make learning easy for you and your child إن شاء الله
The sister left us with advice, to venture forward into learning how to properly read and recite Quran for us and our children. And to include our community as well.
Please share, and implement the beautiful information!
It’s happening tomorrow inshallah after Duhur prayer ❤️
Assalamu alaykum
We are pleased to announce a special Islamic Studies course in collaboration with Al-Ihsan School, scheduled for Saturday the 25th after Dhuhr prayer at IAY School.
This course is for women only and will be led by the Imam’s wife from Masjid Al-Omari. Both she and her husband serve as the Heads of Islamic Studies at Al-Ihsan School, bringing extensive knowledge and experience to the program.
The course will focus on Al-Qaidah An-Noraniah, a well known method for teaching correct Quranic recitation and pronunciation, making it beneficial for all sisters, whether fluent in Arabic or not.
This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to expand our curriculum, with the addition of a Qur'an studies program, insha'Allah. As we continue working with Al-Ihsan School and others to bring valuable educational programs to our students, some of these offerings will also extend to benefit the wider community, such as this course.
We encourage all interested sisters to attend and kindly request you to spread the word and encourage other sisters to join.
As we strive to provide professional development opportunities and certifications for our current teachers, we are equally committed to investing in the spiritual growth and education of our community for a brighter future, insha’Allah.

Another week comes to an end and here is some of what happened this week in the IAY 😁
In celebration of unity day October 16th
Julie Bartelone, president of (a nonprofit organization hosting educational programs for the community and local schools) visited IAY a day after completing their very last Tie-dye Tuesday community event of the year at Mill Creek Park.
Julie explained that each of the 3 buckets contained 1 of the 3 colors of the Palestinian flag 🇵🇸
[She asked the students to first submerge their plain white t-shirts into a bucket of just water and wring it out. They were then asked to choose a tie-dye design, shape and secure their design with rubber bands, and then visit the dye buckets of their desire. ]
In connection to Unity Day- we were able to acknowledge how completely different everyone’s shirt looked! Even with the same colors and designs, not one was identical to the other…Each one beautiful and unique in its own way! - Just like our students ❤️
Enjoy some of the photos of this fun filled day 😁
Last week our wonderful litttle learners received a very special guest 😁 YSU’s Dental Hygiene program professor and Coodinator Ruthie, educated the students on the importance of practicing good dental hygiene and provided everyone with new toothbrushes and toothpaste 🪥 🦷
Check out some of our wonderful students masterpieces 🤩🤩 they have been working so hard to finish their work, Mrs. Mariam is so proud of their dedication and patience 🤩 ma sha Allah!
