Youngstown City School District is celebrating remarkable progress across YCSD! ⭐⭐⭐

YCSD has officially earned a 3-star overall rating on the latest Ohio State Report Card, demonstrating that our district meets state standards and marking a historic milestone for the district.

We are equally proud to recognize our schools' outstanding achievements: Youngstown Rayen Early College earned 5 stars, Rayen Early College Middle School earned 4 stars, and Choffin Career and Technical Center earned 5 stars! East High School earned a 3-star rating, meeting state standards. This is a remarkable turnaround for a school that, based on state performance data, was among Ohio's lowest-performing high schools in 2018.🌟

Additionally, our district achieved a four-year graduation rate of 90.7%, which is another significant accomplishment for YCSD.

These achievements reflect the dedication of our teachers, staff, and administrators, the commitment of our scholars, and the unwavering support of our families and the Youngstown community. Thank you to everyone who helps our scholars learn, grow, and succeed.

We are proud of how far we have come, yet we recognize that more work lies ahead. Together, we will continue building an even brighter future for every scholar in Youngstown.

Youngstown City School District asks families in grades K-8 to complete the YCSD transportation OPT-IN form for each child in their household who lives outside the two-mile walk zone and is eligible for district transportation. The form takes only a few moments to complete and is required to be eligible for busing services.

Additionally , we are happy to announce that the My Ride K-12 App is now active!

A reminder that families can find their student’s bus route information (stop times and locations) by using the My Ride K-12 mobile app. Families must input their scholar’s StudentID to register, which can be found on FinalForms, and older report cards, or Progress Book
