As the 2025-2026 year comes to a close, our hearts are full of gratitude for the teachers and staff, administrators, bus drivers, cafeteria crew, families, volunteers, and community supporters who have made this year a success!

We know the school year is wrapping up, and you're trying to remember lunches plus is it camping day, pool day, the read-in, or whatever fun day your students' grade levels have planned!? In the midst of the last week of school, we wanted to remind you to join the 🐻GBE PTA for 2026-2027🐻!

We're so happy the storms have cleared out and today's forecast is warm and ☀️ sunny! Join us TONIGHT for our annual Family Fun Night from 5:30-7:30 pm! You can grab dinner from Tacos Ramirez and a sweet treat for dessert from Sweet Frog. There are a ton of included activities for families to enjoy including a rock wall, face painting, and the Teeny Tiny Farm. Let your students run around on the playgrounds 🛝 with their friends, and we'll see you tonight as we wrap up the school year.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in person and virtually last night for our Executive Board elections. It was clear that you all were passionate about being involved in the election process. The PTA always has volunteer opportunities in the school during the school day and during events. You can drop a comment with your name if you'd like us to reach out to you about volunteering during the 2026-2027 school year.

One week from tonight is our annual PTA Family Fun Night! Come on out to the playground areas and front of the school for face painting, bubble fun, a rock wall, inflatables, and the Teeny Tiny Farm. The fun starts at 5:30 pm! Tacos Ramirez and Sweet Frog will be on property to purchase dinner and a sweet treat. We're keeping an eye on the weather 🌦️so check back here next week!

Join us TODAY at BJ's Brewhouse at 12090 Jefferson Ave, Ste 1400. They're open 11 am to 8 pm, and 20% of food and soft beverage sales will be donated back to the school. Try their delicious wings, grab a salad or burger, and don't forget to order their famous pizookie for dessert!

Our final PTA meeting for the 2025-2026 school year is TONIGHT, May 20th in the library from 6:00-7:00 pm. There are two ways to join - in person and through Google meet - and childcare will be provided. We'll discuss any business and events for the rest of the year, as well as hold elections for the executive board for 2026-2027. You must hold a membership for the 2025-2026 school year in order to vote, and membership will be verified against the member roster. We hope you can join us!

Join us on May 21st from 11 am to 8 pm at BJ's Brewhouse at 12090 Jefferson Ave, Ste 1400 for a spirit night ALL Day to support PTA. 20% of food and soft beverage sales will be donated back to the school. 🎉Let the countdown begin to GBE's PTA Family Fun Night! This is a free event for our GBE families featuring inflatables, a rock wall, face painting and balloon animals, bubble fun, and the Teeny Tiny Farm. Two food trucks will be available for purchases: Tacos Ramirez and Sweet Frog. Come out, enjoy dinner and a sweet treat, and spend the evening with great friends on Thursday, May 28th from 5:30-7:30 pm.
