Cyrus Mad-Bondo currently serves as Church Relations Representative at World Help, a Christian Humanitarian organization located in Lynchburg, VA. Previously Pastor of Congregational at McLean Bible Church. Cyrus has served as Vice President and Africa Chief Strategist for World Help, headquartered in Forest, VA. Cyrus has lived, worked and traveled extensively throughout many African countries. Mr. Mad-Bondo was born in the Central Africa Republic, a former French colony. He is a sought after speaker and expert on the social, humanitarian, economic and environmental issues facing Africa. He speaks fluent English, French, Sango, the native language of the Central African Republic, and two other dialects. He served at the American Embassy in Bangui in the Central African Republic until 1994. He served as Pastor of Struthers Baptist Tabernacle in Ohio until 2008. He has also served in different supermarkets in Ohio. He earned his MBA from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, 2006 and his BA in Business Administration and International Affairs, from Malone University in Canton, Ohio, 1998. He received the Malone University Alumnus of the Year award in 2013. Cyrus knows firsthand the challenges on the African continent and has worked to relieve suffering not only in the Central African Republic but has helped the poor, orphaned and suffering in Uganda, Zambia, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Rwanda. He has led numerous vision trips as well churches and college students on missions’ trips. As Vice President and Africa Chief Strategist for Africa at World Help, Mr. Mad-Bondo has traveled extensively throughout Africa, building relationships with national Pastors, relief partners, coordinating and implementing myriad projects in humanitarian assistance, child development, community building and faith-based support. Cyrus has been married to his wife Julie for 28 years. She was an orphan from Central African Republic who was adopted by Mae Allen, a medical missionary in Africa. They have three children: Becky, Michael, and Irene who went home to be with her Lord in September 2008.

Tonight's speaker is our very own Mark Shaw.
Mark is professor of historical studies and director of the Centre for World Christianity at Africa International University in Nairobi, Kenya. He is the author of several books and has been a missionary with AIM International since 1980.

Welcome tonight's speaker: Bob Hay

Born in Nigeria, but raised in New Jersey, Bob Hay is a Third Culture Kid and a third generation SIM missionary. He has been involved in ministry since 1982. Since 2003 he has been involved in the recruiting, selecting, equipping, and member care of missionaries serving with SIM. He currently serves as Deputy Director of People Care and Development.

Please welcome tonight's lecturer: Dave Shive.

Dave is a 1968 graduate of the Washington Bible College, a 1972 graduate of Capital Bible Seminary with a Th.M. in New Testament Studies, and a 1994 graduate of Baltimore Hebrew University with an M.A. in Biblical Literature. He has spent the past 47 years in full time ministry as a pastor, Christian school director, and college professor. He currently serves with Frontier Ventures (formerly the US Center for World Mission) as a missions mobilizer for the northeast region of the United States.
