Big ideas from little shapes!🧩
Our first grade Tigers have been exploring geometry by combining smaller shaped to create larger ones! This hands-on activity helped students practice recognizing shapes and building their geometry skills, one piece at a time!🐯

Bullying Prevention Spirit Week is coming to TES!

Today was a special day at TES as we celebrated some of the incredible people who make our school such a wonderful place to learn and grow!🐯 Our Prize Patrol made its rounds to recognize this year's People of the Year nominees and announce our winners!

Our schoolwide reading of A Boy Called Bat may be over, but Thor isn't done visiting TES!🦨
He's been sneaking into classrooms to spend some more reading time with our Tigers. This week, Thor stopped by some of our third-grade classrooms!

October is Bullying Prevention Month! 💙 TES students are invited to help spread a message of kindness by participating in our Bullying Prevention Month Poster Contest.
Students can create a poster featuring an anti-bullying slogan or message and submit it to their classroom teacher by Friday, October 23/ Be sure to include the student's name and teacher's name on the back.
One winner will be selected from each grade!🎨

Our fourth grade Tigers have been working hard to show their ROAR and make positive choices! Their hard work earned them some well deserved Game Day fun, and students also got a chance to check out the Tiger Store menu and start planning how they might spend their Tiger Bucks🐯

📚️The TES Book Fair has been extended through TODAY!

The Book Fair will be open until 5:30 PM, with shopping paised from 3:00-3:45 PM for dismissal. Families are welcome to stop by after school and shop with their child!

Volunteers are also still needed today to help run the registers. Check out the information for volunteer and online shopping details.

🐛 First grade is inching their way through their first math unit!
Our first-grade Tigers practiced skip counting by 10s while creating their very own caterpillar friends. This hands-on activity gave students a fun way to practice recognizing number patterns and build their counting skills along the way!

The Scholastic Book Fair gets kids excited about reading and earns funds for our school. Your child is cordially invited to attend our Book Fair on September 21-25! Get them prepared by visiting https://www.scholastic.com/bf/tabbelementaryschool1, where you can also create a Book Fair eWallet. Families can shop late on Wednesday! The book fair is open until 7pm on Wednesday, September 23rd. It’s gonna be the Best. Fair. Ever!
