Earlier this year, we committed to having our school participate in “Taekwondo Month.”
This effort, initiated from Master Jeff DeWilde of Master Kim's Taekwondo Institute, asked school owners across New York State to share Taekwondo with an emphasis on personal self defense. The purpose overall was to
bring TKD schools across New York State together in spirit and celebrate Taekwondo. This inaugural year, over 16 schools participated!
In one of our events, Master Sessa collaborated with his friend, Samara- attorney at Halpern Law. Samara spoke about safety and legalities for Real Estate agents. Master Sessa taught various self defense drills and techniques while providing context for practical application.
Everyone had a great time and it seems like we may have to do something similar soon!
