With May upon us—a month traditionally dedicated to Mary—we gathered on this first Friday for Mass, united in reverence for our Blessed Mother. Filled with devotion, we were reminded of the beauty and significance of honoring Mary in a special way throughout this month.
Our 6th grade led us in the cherished tradition of the May Crowning, a beautiful expression of love and respect for Mary. Their leadership helped make this sacred moment especially meaningful, inspiring our entire school community to carry forward this treasured tradition with faith and joy.

We are always proud to see our graduates thriving in high school. Congratulations to Halle,(on the right) a member of our Class of 2024, on being selected to exhibit her artwork at the Hudson River Teen Scene Exhibit at the Hudson River Museum this fall. What a wonderful achievement!

It’s that magical time of year again—our caterpillars have arrived!
Mrs. Marks' PreK4 students are already busy observing their tiny new friends, watching closely as they eat, grow, and prepare for their incredible transformation. The excitement is building as we anticipate the next stage—spinning their chrysalises—and, soon after, the beautiful moment when they emerge as butterflies. 🦋
There’s nothing quite like seeing wonder and curiosity come to life through hands-on learning. Stay tuned as we follow their journey of change and growth! Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of New York

Today was a truly special day as we continued one of our most cherished traditions. Our Grade 6 students lovingly created and presented Communion banners to our Second Grade students in preparation for their First Holy Communion on Saturday, May 9th.
In a beautiful exchange, our Grade 2 students gifted each 6th grader a loaf of bread, symbolizing the Eucharist they are preparing to receive. This year’s celebration was even more meaningful as siblings and cousins were able to share in this heartfelt moment together.
It was a day filled with faith, connection, and the joy of community—a tradition that continues to bring our students closer in a very special way. Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of New York

Our Art teacher, Mrs. Appel, introduced the concept of positive and negative space to our Kindergarten students. Today, they began the first phase of their project, exploring how shapes and backgrounds work together in creative ways. The students showed great enthusiasm as they experimented with their designs. We look forward to seeing their finished artwork when they complete the project in next week’s class! Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of New York
