Wow! What a night! Thank you all so much for supporting our department and allowing us to have yet another very successful fundraiser! We had possibly the largest turn out we have had yet! We are so thankful for the support we get. It was great seeing familiar faces and some new ones! Hope to see you all again next year!

Tomorrow is the Day!!!! We can’t wait to see you! Don’t let the chance of rain scare you away. The beverages will be cold, the food will be hot (and yummy), and the atmosphere will be fun. There will be a limited number of tickets at the door. Doors open at 3pm, raffle starts at 4pm.

No, you do not need to get your eyes checked. If you happened to see a couple firemen in full turnout gear and air packs taking a brisk evening stroll or riding the streets of Yorkshire tonight, it was part of our air consumption training for interior firemen. This training tests the fireman’s ability to conserve air and gives them an idea of how much time they have on a bottle of air in the fire. In order to get an accurate amount of time, they have to do physical activity as if they are in a structure fire. The ringing you hear is an alarm telling them they are low on air.

Please be safe this week! Take breaks, drink water, find shade to cool off.
