🎓 On Friday, we celebrated a very special milestone, Pre-K Graduation!

Watching these little learners grow in confidence, curiosity, kindness, and independence throughout their time at York Day Early Learning has been an incredible journey. From learning letters and numbers to building friendships and discovering their unique strengths, they have accomplished so much.

We are so proud of each and every graduate and can't wait to see all the amazing things they will achieve in kindergarten and beyond. Congratulations to our Pre-K Class of 2026! 🎉

Child care is more than a service. It's essential infrastructure that keeps York County working.

Yet too many families struggle to find and afford care, and too many providers struggle to stay open.

A York County survey captures the real-life impact of childcare challenges.

Early results show -
- 85% of parents report they would need to miss work within days of a childcare disruption
- 100% of parents indicate they would be forced out of the workforce long-term without reliable childcare
- Families report significant financial strain without two incomes, with many noting that the lack of childcare would require one or more parents to leave the workforce

We at York Day Early Learning believe public and private investments in early childhood education are essential to solving these challenges and building a stronger York County.
