Microbe Art! For Micro lab semester, we learned about genetic transformation and how microbes can be ‘made’ to produce pigments. Then, using already transformed bacteria, the students tired their hands at ‘painting with bacteria’. The results are pretty awesome! Excited (and nervous) for the Penn State York Biology Club Parasite Zombie presentation today! When it comes to introducing people to parasites, I can’t be minimalistic. Want to see some stuffed parasite plushies, including a handmade, 6ft tapeworm (thanks Amy Kathryn!)? You got it! Want cute cut outs for your selfie? Check! Wanna see some critters up close and personal? By all means, have a blast! Hoping for a great turnout today!
