Our thoughts and prayers are with Milligan University as they face this tragic loss. May the Lord walk with the family and friends of these students and the entire Milligan community.

We are profoundly shocked and saddened to share that members of our cycling team were in an accident involving a vehicle this morning while cycling in Hampton, TN. Sophomores Haylan Engdahl and Brayden Rogers were killed in this accident. Multiple other Milligan cyclists were also seriously injured and are currently receiving treatment at the Johnson City Medical Center. There are no words to adequately describe this level of loss. Our prayers are with all those impacted by this tragedy. Please keep the Milligan community in your prayers.

The 10th Annual Fall Speaker Series with the Clayton Museum of Ancient History at York University is coming up soon!

As one of many events taking place during Yorkfest weekend, this year's guest lecturer is Father Michael Flecky who will be speaking on the museum's temporary exhibit, Ancient Stones, New Light: Rome, Christianity, and North Africa.

Time: 7 p.m. (The Clayton Museum of Ancient History will be open from 6:00-6:45 p.m. before the lecture begins)
Location: Miller Room, 2nd level of the Mackey Center at York University
No tickets or reservations are necessary to attend this free event open to the public.

York University is pleased to announce the hire of Dr. Amy Fraser, joining the YU team as an assistant professor of music.

"I am looking forward to working with the staff, faculty, and administration again. Chris Shanks '85 will receive the Alumni of the Year Award and Mason Lee '10 will be recognized as the Young Alumni of the Year. Also being recognized during the Homecoming weekend are new inductees for both the Athletic Hall of Fame and the Performing Arts Hall of Fame.

Former members of the York University choral program gathered together for a memorable choir reunion! Giving everyone a time to sing some special songs together again and to celebrate Dr. Clark Roush's legacy with the York University Singers.
