Nearly 25 years ago, three York College of Pennsylvania graduates signed the Ol' Spart rock and set out to make a difference. Today, Seth Grove, Kevin Schreiber, and Jennifer Berrier have left an indelible mark on our region and the Commonwealth through dedicated lives of public service.
From the halls of the state Capitol to local economic development and state utility protections, these three alumni prove that a YCP education is about more than just a credential; it is about building a foundation for civic responsibility.
As Kevin Schreiber, President and CEO of the York County Economic Alliance, puts it: "One of my key mantras is how much impact and good can you do in the world?"

York College alumnus and Army Veteran Dominic Cole ‘10 is bringing a vital resource back to our area, offering dedicated home, companion, and personal care for adults who want to maintain their independence.
For Dominic, taking care of our local seniors is a deeply personal responsibility. "It’s like the saying is, 'We stand on the shoulders of giants.' They’ve done so much to build a society... Now they’re older, and it’s our turn to look out for them."

Share your memories for one of York's oldest bars!
Murph’s Study Hall — One of York's Oldest Bars !
🍻 A York Nightlife Staple . THEN. NOW. ALWAYS. 🍻
For generations, people have walked through these doors
some as students, others as locals looking for something real.
A neighborhood bar. Family-owned.
Welcoming from the moment you walk in.
And no matter how you found us… you found what everyone does:
A place that feels like home.
Murph’s isn’t built on trends,
it’s built on good people, good drinks, and nights you don’t forget.
That’s why Murph’s is still here.
We’re grateful for the support this community has shown us through the years— and we’re proud to keep the doors open for generations to come.
Because some places never go out of style.
