YSEF Impact students (Moira, Mackenzie, and Anni) accepted a check from Pastor Vanessa at Luther Memorial Church today for the purchase of backpacks for the Impact Foundation Back to School event. Pastor Vanessa and the congregation of LMC donated over $3000 for this effort. WOW!!!

The folks at GIANT on Pauline Drive have been huge supporters of the YSEF Impact Pantry since the beginning…and this week, they just so happen to have sales on some items we really need to restock our shelves: 5/$5 Body Wash and Hand soap, Canned Tuna, and Canned Pasta.
Donations can be left in the shed behind Luther Memorial Church any time, in the lobby at the YS Admin Building (Provard Center M-Th 8-4), or handed directly to us on Thursday 7/23 between 3-6pm. Thanks in advance!!

We have good news, York Suburban families! The registration deadline for YSEF’s School Supply Giveaway has been extended to Tuesday, July 14.

The YSEF Impact Foundation is preparing school supply kits for York Suburban students entering grades K–12 for the 2026–2027 school year.

If your student could benefit, please complete the appropriate registration form below. Supplies will be available for pickup on Friday, August 14, from 4–7 p.m. at Luther Memorial Church, located next to York Suburban High School.

Good old Freezer #4 has decided it no longer likes being a freezer. Is there anyone in the YS sphere who would be able to give it a look and a free diagnostic for us to see if it’s worth repairing?? Please message us here if you would be willing to donate your time and expertise to give it a look!

Last month’s cereal drive was a success…now we need SOAP! Hand soap, bath soap, or dish soap…ALL are appreciated! THIS THURSDAY, drive by Luther Memorial between 2:30-6:00 and hand some soap to THIS GUY!

During the month of June, we are hoping to collect $1,000 to purchase backpacks for the Impact Foundation's Back-to-School distribution! Each dollar that is collected will be matched by two other individuals - so your $1 donation becomes $3!

Donations may be sent to Luther Memorial Church and designated "Backpack Challenge"!

As of June 3, we have already collected $450 towards our $1,000 goal. Having reached 25% of our goal, Pastor Vanessa will be wearing mismatched socks and shoes to Outdoor Worship & Dinner Church on Saturday evening (and also maybe to synod assembly during the day.)
