WELCOME TO THE PACK PICNIC ON THE PLAYGROUND & BACK TO SCHOOL BASH!

Summer will be over before we know it! We invite all Yorkshire Elementary students and families to join us on the playground to meet our old and new friends on MONDAY, AUGUST 10TH for a picnic. Bring a blanket and your favorite snacks and join us for some activities and fun to celebrate the upcoming school year.

KINDERGARTEN: 6:00 - 6:30 PM
We ask that ONLY kindergarten students and their families join us during this time frame. This will allow them to get familiar with new faces and comfortable with their new school!
1ST AND 2ND GRADE: 6:30-7:30 PM
Any returning 1st and 2nd grade students and their families are welcome to join us during this time frame.

All families will also receive an email from their building principal on Monday, and our Back to School Guide is available now and packed with answers to many questions you may be asking as you prepare for the new school year. Take a look, get prepared, and get excited for a new year of BOLD opportunities. We can’t wait to welcome you back! 🧡🖤

🌞 SummerQuest 2026: Unearth a Story is underway!

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to keep your child engaged this summer? York County Libraries has a SummerQuest program that began on June 1 and runs all summer long!

Do you want to read more? Get involved in the community? Or perhaps you want to be more active and get outdoors. Whatever those goals may be, YOU get to decide how your summer looks!

📚 There is still plenty of time to join the adventure and make this summer one to remember!
