DCS School of Driving is looking for a CDL Examiner.

The ideal candidate would be a retired individual with a flexible schedule. We will send you to training to become an Examiner.

We are looking for someone available to test our students at the end of their 5-week or 8 week course. Additional testing is available if you want. Pay is $75 per test, and a test generally takes 2 - 2 1/2 hours, which is roughly $30-$37.50 per hour. Testing days should pay about $225 for the day. Potential to become an instructor if desired.

Must have current Class A CDL with no AirBrake or Manual Transmission restriction, current DOT Physical.

AUTOMATIC TRUCK ADDED TO OUR FLEET!

Well, it has taken 15 years, but I finally added an AUTOMATIC TRUCK.

Beginning with our Day Class starting May 19th, students will be able to CHOOSE whether they want to learn to drive our 10 and 13 Speed manual transmission Kenworths, OR our new International with 12 Speed Fully Automatic transmission. If you start out on the Manual and find it out isn't for you, you always have the option to switch to the automatic.

A refundable tax credit of up to $10,000 for new drivers or those in registered trucking apprenticeships.

Up to $7,500 for current CDL holders who drive at least 1,900 hours per year.

Credit eligibility across 2025 and 2026, giving students time to enroll, train, and qualify.

Partial credits even for those driving fewer hours in their first year—opening the door for those starting out.

I need an evening instructor!

INSTRUCTOR would be from Monday through Friday from 5-10pm with YOUR CHOICE to become an EXAMINER for even more income. INSTRUCTOR would teach students in the classroom, on the road, and with backing maneuvers, pre-trip inspection, etc.

EXAMINER makes their own schedule. Work the days and times that you want to work. EXAMINER would be certified by the State of Pennsylvania to conduct testing and issue licenses to qualified individuals. Qualified Examiner Candidates would be sent for training at no cost.

This position would require current medical and Class A CDL.

Starting pay is $25+ an hour based on training/testing experience. Training experience is helpful, but not required.
