🎆 July 4th Fireworks – Short Sands Beach 🎆

Celebrate Independence Day with us at Short Sands Beach on July 4th! The fireworks display will begin at 9:30 PM.

🚗 Parking Information:
• Paid parking is available at Short Sands Park on a first come, first served basis
• Handicapped parking is free of charge
• Paid parking is also available on Railroad Avenue, Beach Street, and across from the York Beach Fire station
• Permit-only parking will continue to be available at the York Beach Ball Field
• No parking will be allowed on: Ridge Road, Bay Street, Hawk Street, Church Street, Broadway, Nubble Road, Ocean Avenue Extension, and Main Street or anywhere else where there is not marked parking.

🚧 Traffic Advisory (Post-Event):
At the conclusion of the fireworks, inbound vehicle traffic will be CLOSED at the following locations to allow for exiting pedestrian traffic:
• Ridge Road & Church Street
• Long Beach Avenue at the intersection of Church Street

Please plan accordingly, expect delays, arrive early, and consider carpooling or walking if possible.

with Center for Wildlife!🌍

Only One Week Until Our Earth Day Celebration at Center for Wildlife 🌎

Celebrate the natural world with us at the Center for Wildlife on Saturday, April 25th from 11 AM–2 PM.

♻ Spend the day exploring our campus and connecting with wildlife through:
- Vernal Pool Detectives: Discover Frogs & Salamanders
- Earth-friendly Crafts: Create your own Recycled Planters
- Spring Bird & Nature Walks through our Woodland Trails
- Animal Ambassador Meet & Greets

Earth Day is a reminder to slow down, step outside, and reconnect with the environment we depend on every day. We hope you leave feeling inspired, curious, and connected to the world around you.

This event is open to all ages, and your ticket is valid until 4 PM, so you can continue exploring our campus after the event!
