As we look back on the Summer 2026 semester, we're grateful for all the learning, laughter, and connections that made it such a success!

From engaging classes and new discoveries to social events and shared experiences, our participants embraced every opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun together. The semester was filled with meaningful moments, new friendships, and plenty of reasons to smile.

Spend the day exploring York's baseball heritage and dancing through the decades. Attend one session or stay for both!

Join instructor Barry Sparks for a fascinating look at the York White Roses during their years as the Class AA affiliate of the Washington Senators. While the team struggled in the standings, it helped develop several players who went on to successful Major League careers.

✨ Discover the stories of future major leaguers like Joe Coleman Jr., Del Unser, Dick Bosman, and Jim French

Step onto the dance floor and take a fun trip down memory lane in “Summer Swing.” From the lively jitterbug of the 1940s to the disco favorites of the 1970s and 1980s, you'll learn easy and enjoyable partner dances inspired by each era's music and style.

⚾ Did you know a team that finished near the bottom of the standings helped develop future major league stars? 🧢

Join us for “York White Roses Baseball Team” and explore an interesting era of York’s baseball history. From 1963 to 1968, the York White Roses served as the Class AA affiliate of the Washington Senators, compiling a 290–399 record and finishing last in the Eastern League three times. Yet despite those challenges, the team produced several players who went on to successful professional careers.

You’ll:
• Learn about the White Roses’ years as a Washington Senators affiliate
