YC Family is introducing Chess Club this semester!
We will meet the 2nd Wednesday each month from 9am to 9:50.
* September 9th
* October 14th
* November 11th

All students and skill levels are welcome. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost is $9 per semester or $5 per session the day of.

Sign-up sheet will be available during orientation.

📚 Fall Registration is Now Open at York County Family Co-op! 🍂

York County Family Co-op is a community of homeschool families who come together each week for shared learning and enrichment. We offer parent-led classes in a flexible, cooperative setting, giving families the freedom to choose what works best for them.

Our goal is to provide fun, meaningful, and educational experiences while also creating space for kids to build lasting friendships.

We welcome all homeschool families who value kindness, respect, and protecting childhood.

We meet on Wednesdays at Lifeway Church in York, and we still have a few openings in many our fall classes. A few examples:

🤟 Basic American Sign Language
🧱 Lego Club
🏃 High Energy PE
🔭 Astronomy

🎉 Join us for our Open Social on August 19th at 10am!

This is a great chance to meet other homeschool families, learn more about our co-op, and see if it’s a good fit for your family.

I asked Mikey this morning what he wants me to teach next semester. He said without hesitation, Greek mythology. I know it seems soon to discuss, but next semester will be here before we know it, and I would like to get our schedule up by May. We aren't accepting proposals yet, but I wanted to start a thread here of what you might want to teach next semester, or a request your kid has but you would like someone else to teach. I have been so impressed with the excellent classes we have had so far this year. Remember you are allowed to teach alone, or team teach with another mom. You are welcome to teach more than one class, or none at all. Whatever fits your phase of life this fall. What are your ideas? What would you be interested in offering? What would you like to see on the schedule?
