See You at the Pole

This morning, our students gathered in prayer and worship for See You at the Pole a beautiful reminder of the freedom we have, to openly gather, for time in worship, and come before the Lord in prayer.

Our younger students also joined in during chapel, gathering to pray and worship as one school family. From our flagpole to our gym, students of all ages prayed for our school, our community, and our country.

We are deeply grateful for the freedom to live out our faith together and for the opportunity to teach our students that prayer is powerful, worship matters, and we can bring every need before God.

At CSY, we have so much to be grateful for, especially students like Abi who fill our halls and make our school community such a blessing.

Last year at our Annual Dinner & Auction, Abi won the silent auction experience to become a CSY Marketing Designer for a Day! Her challenge? Design a T-shirt that reflected her personality and character while celebrating what makes a CSY Christian education so special.

Abi chose Jeremiah 17:8, a beautiful reminder that those who trust in the Lord are like trees planted by the water are rooted, growing, and bearing fruit. It’s a message that reflects what we pray for every CSY student: that they would be deeply rooted in Christ as they learn, grow, and discover who God has created them to be.

That’s why National Day of Gratitude feels like the perfect day to officially launch Abi’s Collection. We are grateful for Abi, for her creativity, and for all the students God has entrusted to CSY. They are what fill our halls with life and make CSY such an incredible blessing.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our very first Defender Dinner at MOD Pizza! Thanks to your support, the funds raised were used to purchase new practice balls for our soccer program and help paint the soccer field! ⚽️

We’re so grateful for our CSY families, friends, and community who showed up to support our Defenders, and a special thank you to MOD Pizza for hosting us and giving back to Christian School of York.

Something new is hitting the air at CSY!

We’re excited to introduce GameTime Radio at our home athletic events this year! From gameday music and school news to team spotlights and more, GameTime Radio is bringing even more energy and fun to the Defender gameday experience.

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

We remember the lives lost, those who courageously served, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

As a community, we turn to the Lord in prayer, thanking God for His presence in times of sorrow, asking Him to comfort those who continue to grieve, and praying for His protection and peace over our nation.

This year, our theme verse reminds us, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 3:17

Today, we are grateful for the freedoms we have been given, including the freedom to gather openly as a school
and pray together. And above all, we give thanks for the lasting freedom and hope we have in Christ.

A sweet treat from some very special members of our CSY family!

This week, Grandparents of CSY blessed our teachers and staff with snacks in our faculty rooms as a way to say “thank you” for the love, care, and dedication they pour into our students each day.

What a beautiful picture of generations coming together to support and encourage one another. We are so grateful for our grandparents and the many ways they continue to be part of the CSY community! So many teachers took the time to share how grateful they were for the snacks and loving gesture of encouragement throughout the day.
