makes for long days and means all hands on deck. My least favorite job on the is packing silage. This particular silage is from a patch a neighboring had. We feed corn and small grain silage to our cows. It's cut and chopped while the moisture is still high and put into pits to ferment. The fermentation process makes it a wonderful food for . We mix silage and a custom feed along with hay and grazing to give our cows a balance diet. #

Do you know how many hours of work go into your and other products? The and I have been up since before 5...we've milked 180 , fed cows and , cleaned up after the cows, washed milkers, then ran 3 different washes on the lines that carry the milk, moved to pasture, fed & watered , fixed the chopper, hooked up the cutter, chopped 2 loads of silage and now heading back to milk, feed and clean again. At the end of the day we will have both put in 15+ hours. Behind every gallon of are hours of work, a family who has sacrificed to provide for you and your family.
