Three Graham Fellows took their research beyond the classroom and all the way to Brazil this summer.🌎

Through a new partnership with the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Alexis Seymour ’28, Dendera Hightower ’28, and Sean Reilly ’27 spent two weeks advancing projects in nursing, marketing, and civil engineering while learning alongside faculty and students abroad.

Now back at YCP, they’re bringing those experiences into the classroom through student-led presentations and new perspectives on their work.

Shane August ’28 is turning his passion for video into a growing business.

Always August Productions helps clients tell their stories through video production and photography. Now, Shane is taking the next step in his entrepreneurial journey through York College’s J.D. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship, where he has access to workspace, mentorship, and a community of fellow entrepreneurs.

“The Incubator space in particular means a lot to me,” Shane said. “Having a dedicated place to create makes it so much easier to bring my ideas to life and be more creative with my projects.”

25 years after 9/11, we remember Frank Thomas “F.T.” Aquilino ’97, and the spark he brought to the lives around him.

F.T. was the guy with the big personality, the Staten Island accent, the red Beretta and an uncanny ability to turn strangers into friends. At YCP, he found his people, became Student Senate President, and made an impression that his classmates still carry with them today.

As his friend Michael Libercci ’97 remembers, “He was a one-of-a-kind guy, really a gem.”

His life was cut far too short on September 11, 2001, when he lost his life in the North Tower of the World Trade Center. He was 26.

Three years in a row. 100% first-time pass rate. Graduates of the York College of Pennsylvania/WellSpan Health Nurse Anesthetist Program have once again achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on the National Certification Exam.

All 18 members of the Class of 2026 earned their Doctorate of Nursing Practice and are now practicing as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.
