Learning violin at a young age helps children develop fine motor skills, coordination, focus, listening skills, memory, confidence, and creativity—all while having fun and building a lifelong love of music.

First violin lesson for Miriam today! 🎻✨

She’s five years old, which means lessons are filled with singing, silliness, giggles, and lots of new discoveries. It was such a fun first lesson, and I’m excited to see where her musical journey takes her. She joins big sister Lydia who also plays violin, Naomi who plays flute, and Esther who plays double bass.

This year’s viola ensemble, Ethan B, Ally K, and Emelia Z. They played so well today at the recital!

This photo was taken a few years ago when he held a viola for the first time ever, and in a few weeks he will be performing the first movement of the Brahms Viola Sonata in F minor.
